Beneath Superstition - Outta Left Field

The latest episode of BENEATH SUPERSTITION ​traces the afterlives of Arizona’s forgotten sports. 

The Lost Dutchman's Baseball Association, the annual Apache Junction donkey derby, racing greyhounds, decaying drag strips, and exploded pigeons. From vanished ballfields to ruined race tracks, this episode follows the remains of spectacle in the Valley, where entertainment was built in the desert and returned to the dirt. Along the way, shoutouts to the Phoenix Mercury, America's Funnyman Neil Hamburger (Gregg Turkington), and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
